Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Retail Merchandise Coordinator to join our team at TJ Maxx. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for executing receiving and merchandising standards, ensuring Associates are processing efficiently and effectively, and working as a team to deliver an exceptional customer experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Merchandise Operations: Create a positive internal and external customer experience by engaging and interacting with all customers, and maintaining a clean and organized store.
  • Inventory Management: Promote a culture of honesty and integrity; maintain confidentiality, and ensure merchandise is properly tagged, hung, secured, and coded.
  • Team Collaboration: Communicate with the Coordinator on Duty to ensure efficient flow of goods to sales floor, and prioritize tasks and activities according to store plan.
  • Training and Development: Train and mentor Associates on established merchandising and processing principles, and monitor productivity of team and coach as necessary.
  • Store Maintenance: Organize and rotate back stock for easy replenishment, maintain and uphold merchandising philosophy and signage standards, and maintain all organizational, cleanliness and recovery standards for the backroom area.
Requirements
  • Flexibility: Able to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
  • Communication and Organizational Skills: Superior communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Leadership Experience: 1 year retail and 6 months of leadership experience.
