Job Summary

The Reconstruction Foreman is a critical role in ensuring the successful execution of reconstruction projects. This position is responsible for supervising project crews, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, and overseeing the efficient execution of the reconstruction process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with project managers to understand project objectives, scope, and timeline.
  • Develop daily project plans, including work methods, equipment selection, and resource allocation.
  • Determine safety measures and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and permits.
  • Supervise a team of subcontractors and/or field staff, assigning tasks and responsibilities.
  • Monitor work progress and productivity, ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Coordinate tasks according to priorities and plans.
  • Produce schedules and monitor attendance of crews.
  • Ensure proper documentation on projects, including daily/weekly notes, progress photos, and other requirements.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and report them to the project manager.
  • Maintain clear and open communication with the project team, including subcontractors and customers.
  • Provide regular progress reports to the project coordinator and project manager.
  • Ensure that reconstruction work meets quality standards and specifications.
Requirements
  • Strong knowledge of residential and commercial construction systems and techniques.
  • Strong knowledge of office technology, especially Microsoft.
  • Knowledgeable about file management, transcription, and other administrative procedures.
  • Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication and organization skills.
  • Detail-oriented.
  • Customer service-oriented.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Ability to analyze and prioritize.
  • Flexibility and willingness to perform duties as requested.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Extremely organized.
