**Role Overview**
We are seeking an experienced Physician Assistant GS-12 to provide primary care services to our patients at the Defense Health Agency. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.
**Key Responsibilities**
The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of professional direct health care clinical duties, including:
- Examining patients and obtaining comprehensive medical histories
- Prescribing medications and ordering laboratory tests and X-rays
- Providing consultation, teaching, and coordination with patients and their family members regarding treatment and medical care
**Requirements**
To be considered for this position, you must meet the following requirements:
- Graduation from a physician assistant educational program accredited by the Accreditation Review Committee on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA)
- Successful completion of the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) examination
- A current, active, full, and unrestricted license or registration as a Physician Assistant from a State, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States
