**Job Title:** Advanced Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled ARNP to join our multidisciplinary care team in Tacoma, Washington. As a key member of our team, you will provide quality psychiatric services to children and adolescents suffering from mental illness or co-occurring disorders at our Children's Long-term Inpatient Program (CLIP).

**About the Role:

  • Document electronically all relevant information regarding the consumer in the medical record/software systems.
  • Prescribe and monitor medication, providing direction to nursing staff regarding medications.
  • Participate in multi-disciplinary treatment planning for clients.
  • Provide consultation regarding assessment in the development of treatment plans.
  • Make appropriate referrals regarding medical problems of consumers as appropriate.

The ideal candidate will possess a master's degree in Psychiatric Nursing Practice with state certification as an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) or a Doctor of Psychiatric Nursing Practice degree. Additionally, you must have national certification as a Psychiatric and Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and a current DEA number.
