Medical Professional Wanted for Progressive Care Unit Role in Washington

Magnet Medical is seeking a skilled travel nurse to join their team in Tacoma, Washington. This role involves working in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU), providing intermediate care to patients who require close monitoring.
Key Responsibilities- Patient Assessment and Monitoring: Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients with moderate to high acuity, continuously evaluating vital signs, lab results, and cardiac rhythms for any changes that may indicate a need for intervention.
- Patient Care and Management: Administer prescribed medications and treatments, monitor patients with telemetry, arterial lines, and other continuous monitoring devices, and adjust care as necessary.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans, participate in daily rounds, and communicate with the team regarding patient condition, response to treatments, and any changes in care plans.
The estimated salary for this role is $120,000 per year, based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week. Magnet Medical offers a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
