Key Responsibilities

  • Staff Management: Arrange staff to meet production needs and lead the people and processes for your assigned functional area(s).
  • Resource Optimization: Effectively utilize labor and other resources to maximize efficiency and productivity.
  • Managerial Functions: Perform managerial functions including, but not limited to: employee scheduling, performance management, disciplinary action, performance reviews, responding to employee questions and concerns, work direction, ensuring safe work practices, and documentation and recordkeeping.
  • Quality and Food Safety: Conduct inspections of equipment and procedures and ensure that all employees are responsible for the quality and food safety of our products.
  • Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
    • Communication and Leadership: Strong communication and leadership skills are essential for this role.
    • Problem Solving: Good conflict management and problem-solving skills are required.
    • Independence and Motivation: Ability to work independently and be self-motivated.
    • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and focus on accuracy.
    • Organizational Skills: Good organizational skills are necessary.
    • Confidentiality: Tactfully maintain confidentiality of information with employees and public.
    • Technical Skills: Knowledge of various computer applications (MS Word, Excel, ERP) and office equipment.

Education and Experience

An Associate Degree in a related field with 5 years of experience or a Bachelor Degree in a related field with 2 years of experience is a plus. Offsetting management experience will be considered.
