About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Doctors Care/UCI Medical Affiliates, Inc. in Columbia, South Carolina.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for physician visits, taking vital signs and documenting the patient's reason for the office visit.
  • Assist with phlebotomy and EKG procedures.
  • Provide exceptional patient care and maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
Requirements
  • Valid Practical Nurse licensure in South Carolina.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience with taking vitals, phlebotomy, and EKG.
  • Computer skills and knowledge of basic medical terminology.
  • Current CPR certification and OSHA/HIPAA compliance.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate's degree in practical nursing.
  • 1+ year of LPN experience in a physician practice/outpatient setting.
  • Ability to effectively utilize EMR software.
