Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Automotive Interconnect Architect to join our team at MediaTek. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing competitive and scalable interconnect architectures for automotive applications.

Main Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with system architects to develop innovative interconnect solutions that meet the demands of the automotive industry.
  • Drive the development of NoC Interconnect and Memory System architectures to optimize power, performance, and implementation.
  • Utilize system-level understanding to identify performance trade-offs and develop effective solutions.
  • Develop and implement NoC Interconnect designs for automotive applications, ensuring they meet performance targets and system requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with automotive industry standards and regulations, such as ISO 26262 and Automotive SPICE.
  • Work closely with the DV team to verify RTL designs and with the software team to resolve NoC interconnect and Memory System-related issues.

Requirements

  • Good knowledge of computer architecture, microarchitecture, and performance.
  • Experience in designing and optimizing interconnects for automotive applications.
  • Knowledge of automotive requirements and standards (e.g., ISO 26262).
  • 10+ years of relevant design experience and knowledge in architecture, RTL design, performance analysis, and power optimization.
  • Familiarity with recent ARM processor architectures and AMBA AXI, CHI, and LPDDR4/5 interfaces/protocols.
  • Good communication, problem-solving, root-causing, and debugging skills.

Education

  • M.S. or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or relevant subjects.
