About the Role

Blue Owl LLC, a leading asset management company, is seeking an experienced professional to join our team as an Onboarding Investment Operations Director. As a key member of our investment operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the new account onboarding process, including fund launches and Know Your Customer (KYC) processes with various counterparties and brokers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Request and onboard new accounts on third-party vendor platforms, such as ClearPar and LendAmend.
  • Assist in drafting and updating new account forms with custodians, fund administrators, and counterparties.
  • Review legal documents, including custody agreements, administrative agreements, fee schedules, and proposals from custodians, trustees, and brokers.
  • Set up new portfolios in company databases, such as WSO and IVP, using fund documents.
  • Coordinate and address all KYC questions from internal teams with third-party vendors, including counterparties, loan agents, custodians, and brokers.
  • Create new tax forms for new entities and maintain existing ones based on the latest version from IRS.
  • Prepare administrative details for loan, public, and private settlements, admin agent wire details, and operating accounts used for fund closings.
  • Maintain Investment Operations KYC folders with formation documents, tax forms, administrative details, etc.
  • Maintain Authorized Signatory List for Blue Owl entities.
Requirements
  • 5-10 years of experience in the financial services industry.
  • High level of professionalism.
  • Takes initiative and is solution-oriented in all interactions.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Understanding of various fund structures, such as BDCs, Private Funds, CLOs, and SPVs.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including oral and written communication.
  • Ability to multitask and effectively prioritize and manage daily, weekly, and monthly workloads.
  • Bachelor's degree required.
What We Offer

Blue Owl LLC offers a competitive salary range of $140,000 to $150,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, based on individual and team performance.
