About the Role

This full-time position involves working one-on-one with a child or adolescent within the public school setting to help achieve learning and development objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for teaching and supporting children with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized support to students with developmental, mental health, and/or co-occurring disorders.
  • Develop and implement evidence-based practices to foster a therapeutic and enriched learning environment.
  • Collaborate with educators and other professionals to ensure seamless support for students.
Requirements
  • Minimum of a high school diploma/GED required.
  • BHP certification (course can be completed as part of employment and paid for by Woodfords).
  • Experience with ASL strongly preferred.
  • Valid driver's license with current auto insurance and use of a reliable vehicle.
