EMF/RF Power Engineering Specialist III

Job Summary:

The Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI) is seeking a highly skilled EMF/RF Power Engineering Specialist III to join our team. As a key member of our research team, you will conduct research in complex, high-impact technical or scientific fields, focusing on the potential impacts of EMF and RF on workers and the public.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct research and analysis on EMF and RF exposure in various settings, including power transmission and distribution systems.
  • Develop and implement strategies to mitigate EMF and RF exposure, including the use of shielding materials and conductor configurations.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts, program members, and advisors to communicate complex research findings and results.
  • Provide technical guidance and oversight to junior staff and project teams.
  • Develop and lead proposal efforts and new promotional work to identify research opportunities and deliver value to EPRI members.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in a technical field or equivalent experience required.
  • 13+ years of professional experience in a related field.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
Benefits:
  • Competitive salary range: $153,900 USD to $168,000 USD annually.
  • Eligibility to participate in EPRI's annual incentive program.
