Adecco USA is Seeking a Packaging Stability & Shelf-life Technician

Compensation: $24 per hour based on experience

Shift: Flexible

Position Overview:

In the role of Packaging Stability & Shelf-life Technician, you will be responsible for conducting essential product shelf-life and packaging compatibility assessments under the supervision of the shelf-life lead and category scientists. This position entails organizing critical data, performing laboratory tasks, and overseeing the storage and transfer of products.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Participate in initial meetings to develop the Shelf-life intake/request form (covering Sensory, Product Development, and Packaging).
  • Receive, unpack, label, and appropriately store shelf-life products; facilitate transportation between various locations for product transfers.
  • Manage inventory, ensure proper labeling and storage of products, and schedule as well as execute organoleptic benchtops.
  • Document team feedback, submit samples for analytical evaluations, create and maintain project folders in SharePoint, and compile sensory data.
  • Coordinate team organoleptic benchtops at specified shelf-life intervals.
  • Transport goods from storage to testing sites as needed.
  • Provide updates to the packaging team and oversee packaging-related stability testing initiatives.

Required Skills:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with knowledge management systems (e.g., SAP, SharePoint, Labware).
  • Strong technical skills in database management, reporting, and file organization.
  • Knowledge of good manufacturing practices and sanitary food preparation standards.
  • Ability to lift heavy items and maintain detailed schedules.
  • Laboratory experience is preferred, along with a keen attention to detail.
  • A valid Texas Driver License is required.

Additional Information:

  • A personal vehicle is necessary for product transfers; mileage reimbursement will be provided.
