Position Overview
The Mortgage Coach plays a crucial role in enhancing the performance of our Loan Originators. This position focuses on training, developing, and motivating the sales team to ensure they effectively utilize the tools at their disposal, while also guaranteeing that every member interaction is exceptional. As part of the leadership team, you will influence Loan Originators to achieve high performance while ensuring a superior member experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Influence team members to optimize performance without direct reports.
- Manage a personal pipeline while meeting minimum monthly production targets.
- Balance personal production with team performance objectives.
- Master all tasks required of associates.
- Train, motivate, and monitor new associates.
- Conduct weekly training sessions to sharpen skills for originators.
- Facilitate sales training on new products and initiatives.
- Address special member circumstances and challenges as they arise.
- Ensure adherence to procedures and regulatory compliance.
- Deliver an outstanding member experience.
- Proactively identify and escalate issues, proposing solutions to enhance operational success.
- Drive excellence in every member interaction.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's or Associate Degree, or equivalent industry experience.
- 3+ years of experience in mortgage lending and home equity originations.
- 3+ years of customer service experience.
- Experience in centralized sales or processing center management.
- Proven ability to train, motivate, and coach sales teams.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for clear issue resolution.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Professional demeanor and strong work ethic are essential.
- Experience in mortgage, consumer credit, or lending.
- Ability to inspire the sales team to exceed performance expectations.
- Demonstrated success in leading sales professionals to meet or exceed targets.
- Passionate about enhancing the member experience.
- Knowledge of mortgage regulatory compliance and policies.
- Proficient with technology and eager to improve workflows and processes.
- Support the infrastructure necessary for growing a sales team.
- Adapt quickly to change and implement new processes.
- Experience in Mortgage Sales Management or equivalent.
The base pay range for this role is outlined below. The final base pay offer will be determined based on individual factors such as experience, skills, and location.
Pay range: $80,000 - $150,000.00
Payment frequency: Annual
