Role Overview
In this position, you will collaborate with your team to devise testing strategies by utilizing project documentation and conducting thorough discussions with architects and development leaders. Your goal will be to ensure that the applications' capacity and stability align with production deployment requirements. You will assist in establishing Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for various functional components within the platform and communicate performance testing outcomes while identifying areas for enhancement with stakeholders. Additionally, you will contribute to the development of an automated performance testing suite for different components of the platform.
Required Expertise
- Proven experience in collaborating with large-scale engineering teams to define and implement performance testing strategies.
- Strong knowledge of essential design principles for constructing scalable applications on cloud infrastructures such as AWS.
- In-depth understanding of middleware Java stack, Oracle, messaging technologies, and web containers.
- Experience in a dynamic Agile software delivery environment, with familiarity in continuous integration and continuous delivery tools.
Essential Skills
- Exceptional analytical abilities and extensive experience in troubleshooting performance throughput challenges.
- Experience with enterprise-level cloud-enabled distributed systems.
- Comprehensive understanding of distributed systems, internet principles, and statistical data analysis.
- Capability to identify application bottlenecks and assist engineers in enhancing application performance and minimizing latency.
- Extensive experience with monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, Datadog, and Splunk.
