Job SummaryWe are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professional to join our team. As a Direct Support Professional, you will play a vital role in providing personalized support and care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, enabling them to participate fully in their communities and live independently.
Key Responsibilities- Support Participants with Daily Living Tasks: Assist individuals with personal hygiene, meal preparation, and other daily living tasks to promote independence and dignity.
- Encourage Community Involvement: Facilitate participation in community activities, social events, and hobbies to foster social connections and a sense of belonging.
- Develop Life Skills: Support individuals in developing life skills such as budgeting, exercise, and nutrition to promote healthy living and self-sufficiency.
- Provide Behavioral Support: Offer emotional support and guidance to individuals who may experience behavioral challenges, ensuring their safety and well-being.
