Role Summary:We are seeking a dedicated Nuclear Medicine Imaging Specialist responsible for executing a range of diagnostic imaging techniques utilizing radioactive substances to assist in identifying and managing various health conditions. Your skills will play a vital role in enhancing patient care and supporting advancements in medical technology.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients, adhering to established safety protocols.
- Operate advanced imaging devices such as gamma cameras and PET scanners to obtain images of internal anatomy.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to establish suitable imaging procedures based on patient medical histories.
- Position patients comfortably to ensure high-quality imaging results.
- Monitor patients throughout the imaging process to manage any discomfort or adverse reactions.
- Evaluate images and data for clarity and precision, preparing them for review by radiologists or physicians.
- Maintain comprehensive patient records, ensuring compliance with regulatory and quality assurance standards.
- Safely dispose of and manage radioactive materials while following radiation safety guidelines.
- Conduct routine maintenance and quality control on imaging equipment, addressing any technical issues as they arise.

- Associate degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or a related discipline.
- Certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) is mandatory.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification is preferred.

- Proficient in operating imaging technology including gamma cameras, SPECT, and PET scanners.
