Job Title: Finance Data and Analytics Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Data and Analytics Director to join our team at RSM US LLP. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for leading our financial reporting and analytics functions, providing in-depth reporting and financial analysis to support our business leaders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a high-performing team of reporting analysts, providing mentorship, training, and career development opportunities.
  • Oversee the creation and maintenance of comprehensive financial reports and insightful dashboards.
  • Collaborate with business leaders to understand their reporting and analytical needs, providing detailed financial analysis to support business decisions and strategic initiatives.
  • Identify trends, risks, and opportunities through data analysis, driving business improvement and growth.
  • Develop and implement robust reporting processes and standards, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial data and reports.
Requirements:
  • 10-15 years of progressive experience in Finance Reporting and Analytics or comparable experience.
  • Proven experience with Workday reporting.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Proficiency in financial reporting tools and software (e.g., Excel, Power BI, etc.).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High level of self-motivation, resourcefulness, and client service orientation.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality results under tight deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA).
  • Professional services experience.
  • Previous experience analyzing data and providing insights.
  • Previous experience with a Business Intelligence (BI) tool.

At RSM, an employee's pay at any point in their career is intended to reflect their experiences, performance, and skills for their current role.

The salary range (or starting rate for interns and associates) for this role represents numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, education, skills, work experience, certifications, location, etc.

As such, pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.

Individuals selected for this role will be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on firm and individual performance.

Compensation Range: $132,600 - $234,900
