Job Title: Maintenance Manager

Macpower Digital Assets Edge (MDA Edge) is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Manager to lead our Central Shops team. As a key member of our maintenance organization, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to ensure the reliability and efficiency of our plant-wide maintenance and production operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement maintenance strategies to achieve plant-wide objectives, including environmental and health and safety, productivity, asset management, people development, cost control, quality, and team maturity.
  • Lead a team of approximately 10 salaried resources, including technicians, planners, and team leaders, and oversee the supervision of approximately 100 hourly resources, including mechanics, machinists, roll grinders, and truck repair mechanics, and apprentices.
  • Manage the maintenance of the plant's mobile equipment fleet, including continuous improvement in repair turnaround times, increasing time between failures, holding vendors accountable for equipment performance, and driving cost reductions for the plant's annual leasing and maintenance spend.
  • Develop and maintain close working relationships with peers across the plant, including area managers, lead area managers, and maintenance department managers.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or engineering.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in machine repair, maintenance management, and manufacturing industry.
  • Minimum of three years as department manager, including direct supervision of salaried staff and responsibility for hourly craft employees.
  • Minimum of three years of experience managing multimillion-dollar department budgets.
  • Ability to lead organizational change and communicate effectively at all levels in an organization.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Post-graduate degree in business, finance, or manufacturing engineering.
  • Five years of experience managing and controlling plant-wide budgets that exceed $50M annually.
  • Three years of experience leading contractual negotiations with manufacturing unions.
Skills and Certifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in machine repair.
  • 5+ years of experience in maintenance management.
  • 5+ years of experience in manufacturing industry.
  • Experience working with a budget of $10 million or higher.
