Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Culinary Director to lead our culinary team at Great Wolf Resorts. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our kitchen operations, including menu development, food quality, and staff management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement menus that meet the highest standards of quality and presentation
  • Manage and direct the preparation and presentation of all foods in our restaurants and banquet facilities
  • Ensure that all food preparation and service meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and sanitation
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge necessary to provide excellent service
  • Monitor and control food costs, labor costs, and inventory levels to ensure that they are within budget
  • Develop and implement programs to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty
  • Collaborate with other departments, including food and beverage, marketing, and operations, to ensure that our culinary offerings meet the needs of our guests
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in a senior culinary role, preferably in a hotel or resort setting
  • Proven track record of success in menu development, food quality, and staff management
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures, as well as local health department regulations
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions quickly
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; culinary degree or certification preferred
