Job Summary:

Brown and Caldwell is seeking an experienced Environmental Practice Leader to join our Reuse Practice in the Southwest region. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving the growth of our Reuse Practice and developing strategies to meet the unique needs of our clients in the Southwest.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Drive Practice Strategy: Collaborate with our Regional Practice Lead, Practice Leaders, and Business Unit Leaders to develop and drive Reuse strategy in the Southwest region. This will involve analyzing market-specific trends, competition, clients, needs, and opportunities for the region, aligning with our Business Unit and National Practice strategies.
  • Drive External Visibility and Brand Projection: Charter teams to effectively represent Brown and Caldwell's brand related to the Reuse practice and market. Partner with our Regional Practice Lead, Growth Leaders, and Client Service Managers to incorporate strategic messaging, highlight our people, projects, and solutions at conferences, seminars, workshops, client positioning meetings, and facilitate team member visibility.
  • Drive Business Development: Coordinate with our Regional Practice Lead, Area operations and growth leads, and Client Service Teams to drive practice growth. Recommend technical resources to engage with the Client Service Team and client to identify opportunities and improve awareness of solutions that will resonate.
  • Build Capacity for Quality Delivery: Identify Southwest staffing needs and recruit for Reuse practice. Coordinate with our Practice to drive talent strategy, including recruiting efforts for technical talent and intentional development within the region to support current and future growth.
  • Bring Technical Advantage to Sales Process: Participate in go/no-go decisions to maintain alignment with strategy and resource prioritization. Engage appropriate technical resources and standards to identify efficiencies and client-centric solutions that resonate.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in engineering or a related field is required.
  • Professional registration is preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of increasingly responsible professional experience in the environmental services or water utility and/or consulting industry is required.
  • Outstanding communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and professionally (verbal and written) for technical and non-technical audiences.
