Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement infection prevention and control policies, procedures, and guidelines that are consistent with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals, administrators, and other stakeholders to ensure effective implementation of infection prevention and control measures.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to address them.
  • Provide education and training to healthcare staff on infection prevention and control practices.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external partners, including public health agencies and industry organizations.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research, guidelines, and regulations related to infection prevention and control.
  • Manage and oversee the daily operations of the Infection Prevention and Control Program.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in infection prevention and control, with a focus on program management.
  • Certification in Infection Control (CIC) or a related field.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Nursing or a related field.
  • Experience in formal management roles, with a focus on program development and implementation.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry best practices related to infection prevention and control.
