Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Infection Preventionist Manager to join our team at Holy Cross Hospital in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. As a key member of our infection prevention and control program, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining a comprehensive infection prevention program that meets the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement infection prevention and control policies and procedures that align with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Conduct surveillance and analysis of infection rates and trends to identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement evidence-based infection prevention strategies.
  • Provide education and training to healthcare staff on infection prevention and control practices.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external partners, including public health agencies and regulatory bodies.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest infection prevention and control research and guidelines.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in infection prevention and control.
  • Certified in Infection Control (CIC) or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
