Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Infection Prevention Manager to join our team at Holy Cross Hospital. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining an effective infection prevention and control program that meets the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement infection prevention and control policies and procedures that align with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement evidence-based infection prevention and control strategies.
  • Provide education and training to healthcare staff on infection prevention and control practices.
  • Monitor and analyze infection rates and trends to identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to reduce healthcare-associated infections.
  • Collaborate with regulatory agencies and industry partners to stay up-to-date on the latest infection prevention and control guidelines and best practices.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in infection prevention and control.
  • Certified in Infection Control (CIC) or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
