Job Overview

This is a unique opportunity to join International SOS Government Medical Services as a Lead Nursing Supervisor for our global medical operations. We are seeking an experienced and skilled nurse leader to oversee nursing activities within our patient care units.

About the Role

The Lead Nursing Supervisor will be responsible for managing patient care, supervising nursing staff, and ensuring high-quality nursing services are delivered. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, clinical expertise, and the ability to make critical decisions in a fast-paced environment.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily operations of the nursing unit, ensuring efficient and effective patient care delivery.
  • Supervise and mentor nursing staff, providing guidance and support to promote professional development and teamwork.
  • Assess patient care needs and allocate resources accordingly to ensure optimal staffing levels and patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with physicians, allied health professionals, and other members of the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Monitor patient progress and condition, addressing any changes or concerns promptly.
  • Ensure compliance with nursing standards, hospital policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Facilitate communication among staff, patients, and families, promoting a collaborative and supportive environment.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Current, full, active, and unrestricted Registered Nurse license in a State, Territory or Commonwealth (i.e., Puerto Rico) of the United States, or the District of Columbia.
  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
  • 5 years minimum experience including 6 months within the past year.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
  • Experience on a military site working as a government subcontractor or prime contractor is preferred.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $115,000 to $152,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. Additionally, you will receive a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance, as well as a 401k plan, paid time off, and an annual bonus.
