Position at SBM Management
The Site Supervisor is tasked with overseeing and ensuring the safe execution of activities within the designated program. This role encompasses managing both company personnel and temporary staff involved in the project. The individual will conduct inspections of areas, equipment, and working conditions to guarantee adherence to sanitation and OSHA standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute duties of team members within the assigned program
- Educate, oversee, and guide employees on tasks, safety protocols, policies, and procedures
- Coordinate and monitor work activities, suggesting training and disciplinary actions as necessary
- Prepare written documentation, including pass down reports, weekly, or monthly summaries
- Conduct quality, service, and safety evaluations
- Manage equipment inventory, maintenance, and repairs
- Oversee supply tracking and inventory management
- Ensure employees utilize personal protective equipment correctly to maintain safety compliance
- Report personnel and customer-related issues to management
- Address at-risk behaviors immediately and report them to management without delay
- Provide recommendations for corrective measures in areas needing improvement
- Maintain comprehensive records, including training, inspections, attendance, and performance metrics
- Possess familiarity with supervisory responsibilities
- Willingness to travel as required for the position
- Six months to one year of relevant experience and/or training; High School diploma or equivalent education (GED); or a suitable combination of education and experience
- A valid driver's license may be required.
- Forklift certification may be necessary
- Bilingual in Spanish is preferred
- Proficient in database software, internet applications, spreadsheet software, and word processing tools
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, exceptional customer service abilities, training skills, and time management capabilities
- Competence in problem-solving, presentation, and coaching
- Able to read and comprehend documents such as safety regulations, operating instructions, and procedural manuals
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence effectively
- Capable of communicating effectively with customers, contractors, or employees within the organization. Experience with forklifts and pallet jacks is advantageous.
Shift: Monday - Friday, 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM, with potential special requests and occasional weekend work as needed
