Corporate Paralegal Opportunity at Global Partners

We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Paralegal to join our team at Global Partners. As a key member of our legal department, you will play a critical role in supporting our business operations and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with corporate governance and maintenance, including preparing and filing UCC financing statements, and maintaining trademark databases.
  • Support due diligence and closing matters in connection with mergers and acquisitions, dispositions, and financing transactions.
  • Prepare and file federal, state, and securities filings, as well as draft contracts, certificates, and ancillary documents.
  • Conduct research on relevant laws, regulations, and legal articles, as requested.
  • Assist with litigation matters and special assignments as needed.
Requirements:
  • 3-5 years of corporate experience, preferably in a paralegal or legal support role.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite programs, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of employees and external partners.
  • Knowledge of corporate governance, domestic and foreign entities, and familiarity with SEC filings.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, with a focus on meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results.
