Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Coordination: Under the guidance of the department manager, you will oversee the activities of food service workers, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.
  • Tray Line Operations: You will be responsible for overseeing tray line operations for patient services, ensuring that meals are prepared and delivered to patients in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Employee Productivity and Development: You will assist in monitoring employee productivity and provide suggestions for increased service or productivity, ensuring that our team members are equipped to deliver exceptional care.
  • Day-to-Day Activities: You will be responsible for day-to-day activities, assigning responsibility for specific work or functional activities as directed by on-site management.
  • Customer Service: You will work with customers to ensure satisfaction in such areas as quality, service, and problem resolution, ensuring that our patients receive exceptional care.
  • Accident Reporting: You will report all accidents and injuries in a timely manner, ensuring that our team is aware of any potential hazards.
  • Safety and Risk Management: You will comply with all company safety and risk management policies and procedures, ensuring a safe working environment for all employees.
  • Staffing and Scheduling: You will ensure adequate staffing on a day-to-day basis, adjusting accordingly to meet the needs of our patients.
Requirements
  • Experience: Two (2) years of food service experience, with a strong background in leadership and coordination.
  • Certification: ServSafe certification within 6 months of employment, demonstrating your commitment to food safety and quality.
  • Skills: Strong customer service skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Leadership Experience: Prior leadership experience, with a proven track record of success in managing teams and driving results.
