FirstPRO, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled ITSM Tool Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for managing all JIRA UI Admin tasks, process standardization, optimizing workflows, and more.
Key Responsibilities- Manage JIRA UI Admin Tasks: Assist in creating, managing, and supporting all administrative functions associated with the Atlassian product suite, including Jira Software on the Cloud, Confluence, and Bitbucket.
- Process Standardization: Work closely with scrum masters and program managers to assist with process standardization, identifying and implementing automation opportunities.
- Workflow Optimization: Assist in optimizing and improving JIRA/Confluence setup and workflows, identifying areas for improvement to meet user requests.
- Comprehensive Workflows: Define and lead the rollout of comprehensive workflows, screen schemes, permission schemes, and notification schemes.
- Agile Team Support: Assist in refining current Jira processes to be more streamlined and uniform for agile teams, driving results by troubleshooting issues and improving support processes.
- Automation and Reporting: Develop mechanisms to automate manual processes, design Jira-based reports, dashboards, and planning views based on different user requirements.
- Documentation and Training: Review standard operating procedures for repetitive tasks and activities, manage technical and user-facing documentation for training, and ensure continuous improvement.
- Technical Expertise: Provide JIRA domain expertise in discussions regarding governance within JIRA, and assist in reviewing and contributing to establish processes and guidelines for delivery tools for agile.
- Tool Consistency: Drive consistent use of tools in alignment with guidelines across the organization, championing modern methodologies such as Agile, DevOps, and related practices.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or related field.
- Experience: 2-4 years of Atlassian suite of products and applications development and administrative experience, including JIRA, Confluence, Analytics, Assets, Product Data Manager tool, Automation, Script Runner, etc.
- Skills: Troubleshooting, problem-solving, documentation, verbal, and written communication skills, with exposure to REST API, JQL, AQL, Forge development, JIRA APIs, and webhooks.
- Cloud Computing: Understanding and hands-on experience in Cloud computing environments, databases, servers, etc.
