Scholt Industries, Inc. is in search of a proficient and seasoned Construction Project Manager to lead and supervise various construction initiatives across sectors such as Multi-Family Housing, Hospitality, Retail Centers, Residential Development, and Civil Engineering projects. The successful candidate will demonstrate a robust background in construction oversight, exceptional leadership skills, adherence to safety regulations, and a meticulous approach to ensure projects are executed efficiently, on schedule, and to the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage all stages of construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring compliance with timelines, budgetary limits, and quality benchmarks.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration among project managers, subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to assess progress, identify potential challenges or delays, and implement necessary corrective measures.
  • Direct and supervise on-site construction teams, including subcontractors and laborers, ensuring work is conducted safely, efficiently, and in line with project specifications.
  • Uphold compliance with all safety regulations and protocols to ensure a secure working environment for all personnel on-site.
  • Review and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical documents to guarantee accurate execution of design specifications.
  • Coordinate and schedule inspections with relevant authorities to secure necessary permits and approvals.
  • Maintain project documentation, including daily logs, progress reports, change orders, and RFIs (Requests for Information), to ensure accurate records of project activities.
  • Monitor project budgets and expenditures, identify cost-saving opportunities, and assist in the procurement of materials and equipment to enhance project efficiency.
  • Act as the primary liaison for clients, architects, engineers, and other project stakeholders, addressing concerns and providing regular updates as required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience as a Construction Project Manager or in a similar capacity within commercial construction, particularly in Multi-Family Housing, Hospitality, Retail Centers, Residential Development, and Civil Engineering.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of construction methodologies, techniques, and materials, with the ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
  • Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to communicate and collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in construction management software, scheduling tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • OSHA certification and familiarity with safety regulations in the construction sector.
  • A valid driver's license and readiness to travel to project sites as necessary.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience managing commercial construction projects in the specified sectors.
  • Knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and permitting processes.
  • Experience collaborating with subcontractors and vendors in a commercial construction setting.
  • A proven history of successfully delivering projects on time, within budget, and to client satisfaction.
