Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage all stages of construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring compliance with project timelines, budgetary guidelines, and quality benchmarks.
  • Facilitate coordination among project managers, subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to promote effective communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Conduct frequent site inspections to assess progress, identify potential challenges or delays, and implement corrective measures as necessary.
  • Supervise and direct on-site construction teams, including subcontractors, laborers, and other personnel, ensuring work is carried out safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications.
  • Enforce adherence to all safety regulations and protocols to maintain a secure working environment for all personnel on-site.
  • Review and interpret construction documents, blueprints, and other technical materials to ensure precise execution of design plans and specifications.
  • Coordinate and schedule inspections with relevant authorities and agencies to secure necessary permits and approvals as required.
  • Manage project documentation, including daily logs, progress reports, change orders, and RFIs (Requests for Information), to maintain accurate records of project activities and communications.
  • Monitor project budgets and expenditures, identify cost-saving opportunities, and assist in the procurement of materials and equipment to enhance project efficiency.
  • Act as the primary liaison for clients, architects, engineers, and other project stakeholders, addressing any concerns or inquiries and providing regular project updates as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience as a Construction Project Manager or in a similar capacity within commercial construction projects, particularly in Multi-Family Housing, Hospitality, Retail Centers, Residential Construction, and Civil Engineering.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of construction methods, techniques, and materials, with the ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
  • Outstanding leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving capabilities, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in construction management software, scheduling tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • OSHA certification and familiarity with safety regulations and protocols in the construction sector.
  • A valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as necessary.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience managing commercial construction projects in the specified sectors (Multi-Family Housing, Hospitality, Retail Centers, Residential Construction, and Civil Engineering).
  • Familiarity with local building codes, regulations, and permitting processes.
  • Experience collaborating with subcontractors and vendors in a commercial construction setting.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time, within budget, and to client satisfaction.
