Georgetown University's LGBTQ Center is seeking a visionary leader to serve as the Director of the LGBTQ Center. This key leadership role is responsible for providing direction, vision, and advocacy for LGBTQIA+ students on the Main Campus.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide leadership and vision for the LGBTQ Center, ensuring a supportive and inclusive environment for LGBTQIA+ students.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive educational programs to address the needs of the LGBTQIA+ community on campus.
  • Collaborate with the Office of Student Equity and Inclusion to promote LGBTQIA+ inclusivity and awareness within the campus community.
  • Supervise the Center's Assistant Director and work collaboratively with other university departments and student organizations to create a supportive network for LGBTQIA+ students.
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in a related field, such as Social Work, Counseling, or Higher Education Administration.
  • At least 5 years of experience in LGBTQIA+ student support services, program development, budget management, and leadership roles within higher education.
  • In-depth knowledge of LGBTQIA+ issues, intersectionality, and social justice, with a strong understanding of Jesuit and Catholic traditions.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and build partnerships with diverse stakeholders.
