At TMC, we are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Rehabilitation Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our therapy department, you will be responsible for coordinating patient care, managing administrative tasks, and ensuring the efficient daily operation of our therapy services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transport and assist patients under the direct supervision of licensed therapists.
  • Order and maintain office supplies according to company policy.
  • Responsible for department filing, maintaining all filing cabinets, charts, and binders.
  • Prepare necessary forms for physician signature and track documentation.
  • Review and complete thorough documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Make copies, scan, distribute, and file all documentation in a timely manner.
  • Review reports, such as DARs and treatment grids, to ensure accuracy and completion.
  • Attend meetings, take notes, and communicate effectively with therapy staff.
  • Complete Tech Check List, notify TCN of deficient areas, and file as required.
  • Follow proper procedure for maintaining treatment and office areas cleanliness.
  • Complete weekly sanitation of equipment as directed by TCN.
  • Represent TMC in a professional manner and promote a positive work environment.
  • Develop and promote working relationships with company and facility staff.
  • Complete and monitor treatment scheduler and staff scheduler.
  • Review and approve time sheets daily.
  • Assist with answering phones and taking messages as necessary.
  • Check emails and distribute as necessary.
  • Complete DAR and timesheet daily.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Demonstrate computer proficiency.
  • Nurses Aide Certification or equivalent health paraprofessional training and/or one year of experience in the rehabilitation field preferred.
  • Ability to successfully complete company Tech Coordinator training and testing.
  • Ability to demonstrate customer service and soft skills.
  • Ability to follow TMC Values and Mission Statement.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and meet deadlines within a teamwork environment.
  • Ability to identify, communicate, and resolve issues and concerns as needed.
  • Maintain confidentiality.
  • Ability to lift and control 50 pounds.
