Life Enrichment Assistant Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Life Enrichment Assistant to join our team at Acts Retirement-Life Communities. In this role, you will assist the Life Enrichment Coordinator in planning and implementing programs and events that provide residents with a fulfilling and engaging experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the planning and implementation of programs and events that promote resident engagement and well-being.
  • Work closely with the Life Enrichment Coordinator to develop and implement activities that cater to residents' interests and abilities.
  • Ensure that residents have opportunities for meaningful engagement and social interaction.
  • Collaborate with other team members to provide a comprehensive and supportive environment for residents.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of one year' activities/recreation experience.
  • Current or eligible for certification in CPR.
  • Dementia engagement certification (or willing to obtain within 90 days of employment).
