At HRA, we are committed to providing a high-quality living experience for our residents. As our Life Enrichment Director, you will play a vital role in developing and implementing programs that promote meaningful engagement and purposeful activities for our residents and their families.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a monthly activities program calendar that aligns with the therapeutic scope of programs.
  • Promote and maintain the Family Partnership Program to encourage volunteer participation and community engagement.
  • Oversight of LE coordinators and Care managers to ensure quality daily living experiences for residents.
  • Responsible for completing Person Centered Care forms for each resident to ensure comprehensive social information is collected.
  • Embracing and promoting the Parallel Program model through calendar development and associate participation.
  • Maintaining data collection and weekly reports to ensure each resident is touched a minimum of 5 times per day in life enrichment programs.
  • Providing a forum for residents and family members to meet regularly and share their ideas and concerns.
  • Ensuring residents are encouraged and assisted to participate in life enrichment activity programs that are of interest to them.
  • Maintaining an adequate supply of equipment for regular activities, within budgetary guidelines.
  • Encouraging and welcoming participation from other departments.
  • Maintaining resident and environment safety and supporting all aspects of the safe return program.
  • Carrying out other duties as assigned by the Executive Director, including on-call and Manager On Duty responsibilities.
  • Attending monthly DLE Conference Calls.
