Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Exceptional Patient Care: Greet and welcome patients, visitors, and others to Mary's Center, ensuring a positive and efficient office environment.
  • Facilitate Smooth Operations: Model professional performance and conduct, adhering to all confidentiality and HIPAA policies.
  • Communicate Effectively: Answer incoming calls in a timely manner, provide assistance, and verify insurances to determine eligibility, copay, and benefits.
  • Coordinate Care: Submit prior authorizations, review and submit dental claims, and schedule follow-ups.
  • Collect and Track Data: Gather socio-demographic information for population health management and implement clinical questionnaires and surveys.
  • Work as a Liaison: Facilitate communication between participants and dental/service providers, assist with patient education projects, and support the entire clinical team to achieve established outcomes.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Experience: Previous experience as a receptionist in a dental office is desired.
  • Language Skills: Ability to communicate effectively in English is required, with additional language proficiency or fluency preferred.
