About the Role

Bienvenidos is seeking a skilled Therapist to join our team of dedicated professionals. As a Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality clinical services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct individual, conjoint, group, and family therapy sessions under the supervision of a clinical supervisor.
  • Document therapy sessions in accordance with Department of Mental Health (DMH) regulations.
  • Attend training sessions and staff meetings with program/clinical supervisors.
  • Assess, treat, and follow up with clients.
  • Be on-call to program families.
  • Implement program protocols and ensure procedures are consistent with protocols.
  • Participate in a parenting group or assigned group on a rotation one evening a week.
Requirements
  • Masters Degree in a Social Service related field.
  • Registered with the BBS and has a BBS number.
  • Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
  • Previous experience working with severely and emotionally disturbed children.
  • Valid California drivers license, driving record, and personal vehicle insurance acceptable to Hillsides' insurance carrier.
Work Environment
  • Regularly work indoors in a variety of environments.
  • Potential exposure to blood-borne pathogens.

  • This position performs tasks that may involve exposure to blood, body fluids, or tissues.
