Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at Kaiser Permanente in Baldwin Park, California.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing occupational therapy services to patients under the direction and supervision of the Rehabilitation Services team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate patients to determine the nature and extent of dysfunction, and develop treatment plans to achieve established goals.
  • Implement treatment programs through direct patient care, and delegate tasks to supportive personnel as needed.
  • Coordinate treatment programs with other healthcare professionals, and provide education and advice to patients and families.
  • Regularly assess clinical signs and symptoms to determine the effectiveness of treatment, and make adjustments as necessary.
  • Discharge patients from occupational therapy when they have received maximum benefit from the service.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy curriculum with a Bachelor's or Master's degree and certification in occupational therapy or foreign-trained equivalent.
  • Current California Occupational Therapy License or license eligibility letter prior to the first day of employment.
  • Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association, and National Provider Identifier.
