Job Summary

As a Technical Project Manager at Comcast, you will be responsible for leading the technical program management for the Business Intelligence team within Comcast Integrated Supply Chain Operations. This role will serve as the program management lead for all reporting, data, and Analytics intakes within the ISCO BI team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own the end-to-end aspect of ISCO BI program and release management activities.
  • Identify, confirm, and obtain participation from required cross-functional teams, ensuring they understand their roles and responsibilities for the duration of the program.
  • Actively participate in key planning of program milestones, driving alignment to these milestones, and using specific knowledge about one or more technical areas to research, plan, communicate, and achieve objectives through program/project teams.
  • Work with Product Owners to continue to evolve our planning practice in support of a continuous delivery model.
  • Manage the development cycle through daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Ensure the program roadmap is prioritized and developed.
  • Manage the intake lifecycle based on issue category (bugs, ad-hocs, feature requests).
  • Guide the team on how to use Agile/Scrum practices and values to improve the quality, speed, and compliance.
  • Coordinate the RCA and create incident reports with concerned business and technical teams.
  • Calibrate current process paradigm in improving development/delivery throughput across team functions.
  • Support release management and version control by coordinating activities across business and technical teams.
  • Develop deep working relationships with business stakeholders to become a trusted partner for their data and analytical needs.
  • Work to identify and obtain participation from required cross-functional core team members, including matrixed project managers.
  • Oversee the team as they plan, track, and execute project plans from start to completion.
  • Create program plans and program records, working with the core team and senior staff members to identify and schedule all work required to fulfill program scope, including identification and management of critical path tasks.
  • Assist in the development of key goals, objectives, and success criteria for the program, ensuring clear communication and alignment with stakeholders and delivery teams.
  • Recommend changes to improve the engineering process and alleviate process inaccuracy and duplication.
  • Support the budget and resource forecasting exercises.
  • Identify and analyze risks and issues while providing resolutions to a diverse range of complex problems.
  • Track and manage the program schedule and task details included in the technical program plan, analyzing actual performance against the plan and making adjustments consistent with plan objectives.
  • Work with the team to assist in action item resolution and track completion, ensuring program milestones are accomplished and overall timelines are met.
  • Document all major plan changes in scope, approach, and date delivery.
  • Determine and develop approach to solutions.
  • Communicate updates on major milestones and keep all stakeholders informed of progress and issues.
  • Work with senior staff members to manage proposed changes to program parameters and ensure appropriate processes and communications are followed.
  • Monitor and ensure quality of program deliverables.
  • Work with core team and key field resources to develop and monitor deployment schedule, strategies, and tools to support the implementation of programs in the field through trials and controlled customer deployments.
  • Deliver on commitments while demonstrating a high level of integrity and respect for all teammates and stakeholders.
  • Consistent exercise of independent and collaborative judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
  • Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance, with the ability to work nights and weekends, variable schedules, and overtime as necessary.
