About the Opportunity

Grand Canyon Education, Inc. is seeking a qualified Pediatric Nursing Faculty to join our team at the College of Nursing and Health Care Professions. This full-time faculty member will provide indirect and direct support in the development and provision of clinical instruction and student evaluation.

Job Description

This role involves providing program instruction incorporating innovative teaching methodologies, cutting-edge technologies, and other industry trends reflecting advancements in your discipline. You will reinforce didactic content and teach in the context of the clinical and lab application of knowledge and skills related to pre licensure Nursing.

You will collaborate with content area faculty to provide expert evaluation and documentation of student progress toward clinical and lab objectives. Additionally, you will participate in grading written and Clinical/Lab performance check-offs.

The ideal candidate will have a Master's Degree in Nursing (MSN) and a minimum of 2 years' work experience in Pediatric nursing. An active and unencumbered Registered Nurse in the state of ID or compact state is also required.

  • Prior teaching experience at the collegiate level preferred
