Clinical Instructor

Grand Canyon University seeks a qualified Clinical Instructor - Pediatrics to join our faculty team. As a seasoned pediatric nurse, you will have the opportunity to shape the future of nursing education and contribute to the growth and development of our students.

This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of $80,000-$100,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, you will receive a generous time off plan and 11 paid holidays.

1. Design and deliver engaging curriculum that aligns with industry standards and best practices in pediatric nursing.
2. Develop and maintain relationships with local healthcare organizations to ensure seamless integration of clinical experiences for our students.
3. Collaborate with content area faculty to assess student learning outcomes and make data-driven decisions to improve program effectiveness.
4. Stay current with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards to ensure compliance and maintain the highest level of academic excellence.
5. Lead by example, demonstrating exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.

• A Master's Degree in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited institution.
• At least 5 years of experience in pediatric nursing, with a proven track record of leadership and mentorship.
• Current RN licensure in the state of ID or compact state.
• Prior experience in academia, preferably as a Clinical Instructor or Professor.
• Strong background in pediatrics, with knowledge of relevant assessment tools and interventions.
• Ability to travel to student clinical sites and participate in observation activities.
