About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Medical Surgical team as a Charge Nurse. As a Charge Nurse, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and leading a team of nurses to deliver high-quality care.

Responsibilities
  • Utilize specialized plan-of-care intervention to improve patient outcomes
  • Lead a team of nurses to deliver high-quality patient care
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Provide education and training to nursing staff on best practices and new technologies
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of unit-based policies and procedures

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A current state RN license or a current multistate compact license
  • An associate or bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing school
  • Two or more years of recent RN experience, with one year of hospital staff nurse experience required
  • Current American Heart Association BLS certification, with ACLS and PALS certification within 90 days of hire
  • Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision
