We are in search of a Senior Clinical Application Analyst who can deliver an exceptional experience for our clinical team utilizing our electronic health records (EHR) systems. This role involves updating and designing efficient workflows, creating comprehensive documentation, and providing training and continuous support to the AndHealth clinical team. Furthermore, this individual will engage with our partners and contribute to the implementation of new services.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate EHR configuration sessions with partners, ensuring the effective development and deployment of essential application functionalities that support AndHealth services.
  • Assist in system configurations and workflows to enhance EHR utilization for AndHealth end users.
  • Identify and rectify inconsistencies across EHR workflows; develop and implement best practice workflows across all clinical teams.
  • Build or assist partners in creating custom templates and smart phrases as required by AndHealth providers.
  • Provide on-site physician support, feedback, and user record specialization.
  • Stay informed about advancements in EHR, Health Information Exchange (HIE), and clinical software technologies.
  • Conduct user support and troubleshooting, driving prompt resolution of complex issues to minimize disruptions in clinic operations.
  • Participate in training sessions with our partners, becoming an expert in the functions utilized by AndHealth's administrative and clinical staff.
  • Translate training provided by partner training staff into AndHealth best practices.
  • Deliver initial and ongoing EHR training for AndHealth staff, encompassing all roles from providers to nurses and administrative support personnel.
  • Enhance physician engagement and knowledge retention.
  • Update existing and future training into targeted modules.
  • Create user-friendly and comprehensive reference materials.
  • Highlight key workflow differences in partner EHRs, creating tipsheets for quick access to frequently needed functionalities.
  • Design an auditing process to ensure physician documentation compliance as required by our community health center partners.

Education & Licensure Requirements:
  • Preferred degree in computer science, management information systems, or information technology.

Additional Skills or Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience working with EHR systems (e.g., Epic, eClinicalWorks, Cerner, NextGen).
  • Experience in project management.
  • Possess an interdisciplinary and systems thinking approach.
  • Exhibit excellent multi-tasking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to follow instructions with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Demonstrate professional relationship skills and a strong work ethic.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, billing, and coding is preferred.
  • Prioritize responsibilities, take initiative, and possess outstanding organizational skills.
