Forefront Healthcare & Culinary Services is seeking an experienced Registered Dietitian/Healthcare Manager to lead our clinical nutrition and healthcare culinary team at one of our upscale Senior Living Communities in Columbus, GA.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the functions of clinical nutrition and healthcare culinary services, ensuring high-quality nutritional care is provided to residents while meeting Federal, State, and local standards.

  • Calculating nutritional needs, establishing goals, and implementing medical nutrition therapy for residents based on their overall nutritional status.
  • Hiring, leading, training, and developing nutrition team members and supporting the kitchen workforce.
  • Maintaining compliance of standards for meal service, food quality, task performance, and budget responsibility.
  • Monitoring competencies, productivity, and documentation accuracy of the kitchen workforce in healthcare.
  • Establishing effective strategies to implement innovative programs leading to optimal clinical nutrition and positive financial outcomes.
  • Promoting Health & Wellness for residents and staff through monthly RD/Chef food demos, monthly educational series, and partnering with the Facility Wellness Coordinator for wellness activities.
  • Compiling with regulatory standards, both Federal and State, and accrediting agencies, adhering to confidentiality, HIPPA regulations, residents' rights policies, and CMS regulations.

Requirements for the position include:

  • 3+ years of experience as a registered dietitian with managerial responsibilities.
  • Thorough knowledge of nutrition and dietetics, administration, and operations of senior living.
  • Knowledge of HACCP guidelines.
  • Bachelor's degree in Nutrition Sciences or a related field.
  • Registered Dietitian (RD) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration and licensed by the State Dietetics Licensing Board in state(s) where applicable.

The ideal candidate will possess leadership qualities, the ability to identify and solve complex problems, effective logic, reasoning, and critical thinking skills, active listening skills, and a team player mentality.

The compensation package for this role includes a salary of $70,000.00-$75,000.00 per year.
