Position Summary:

As an IT Support Technician, you will deliver comprehensive technical assistance to users across various operational settings. Your role will involve identifying IT solutions, onboarding new personnel, and providing training on essential software functionalities. You will respond to support inquiries via calls and emails.

Key Responsibilities:

Desktop Support:

  • Install and configure new computer systems.
  • Prepare devices for use and refresh existing systems with standard operating system images.
  • Install software applications and manage updates.
  • Develop and modify group policy objects within Active Directory.
  • Diagnose and resolve intricate hardware, software, security, and network issues.
  • Coordinate repairs with external vendors for IT equipment.
  • Maintain accurate inventories of hardware and software resources.

Monitor support ticket queues and prioritize tasks to ensure efficient service delivery.

Server and System Management:

Oversee both local and cloud-based servers to manage file sharing, access permissions, and system updates. Assist users with file organization and ensure that backup protocols are executed correctly. Perform data recovery as needed.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

The successful candidate will possess expertise in Microsoft Office 365, demonstrating proficiency in application support and a thorough understanding of its features. Experience in managing Active Directory and Office 365 permissions is essential.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with Office 365, Microsoft SharePoint, or Microsoft Exchange.
  • 2+ years of practical experience with Azure analytics platforms.
  • MCSA and/or MCSE certification in Microsoft Office 365 is preferred.
  • Azure certifications are advantageous.
