Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the oversight of the facility and equipment, implementing preventive maintenance and ensuring compliance with safety and sanitation standards.

  • Work alongside the General Manager to promote employee understanding and adherence to all Human Resources policies and procedures.
  • Analyze operational results and implement corrective actions as necessary during shifts.
  • Drive guest loyalty through outstanding service and staff training, while striving to meet financial targets.
  • Participate in management meetings and contribute to the development of strategic plans and objectives.
  • Demonstrate integrity by ensuring secure handling of financial transactions during shifts.

  • Complete additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Possess a valid driver's license and proof of insurance.
  • Completion of Management Training Program(s) is required post-hire.
  • Certifications in food safety and alcohol service are advantageous.
Supervisory Duties
  • Directly oversee a team of approximately 20-50 non-exempt employees during shifts.
  • Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, training, assigning tasks, evaluating performance, and addressing employee concerns in line with company policies.
Required Skills and Knowledge

To excel in this role, candidates should demonstrate the following competencies:
  • Comprehensive understanding of both back of house (BOH) and front of house (FOH) operations and management practices within the restaurant sector.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to effectively train, mentor, and evaluate team members.
  • Capability to interpret financial data and respond to operational challenges swiftly.
  • Proficiency in the use of all restaurant equipment.
  • Clear and effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal; bilingual abilities are a plus.
  • Exhibit sound judgment in daily decision-making aligned with the company's mission and values.
Education and Experience
  • Successful completion of all required training.
  • A degree in Hospitality, Business, or Restaurant Management is preferred.
  • A minimum of one year of managerial or supervisory experience is required.
