Job Summary

As a Sterile Processing Manager with i4 Search Group Healthcare, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient flow of the Sterile Processing department, promoting improved quality and patient safety in the Operating Room.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective sterilization, instrumentation, and decontamination procedures to maintain equipment and supplies.
  • Oversee the decontamination, processing, sterilization, and distribution of instruments, equipment, and sterile supplies.
  • Monitor and maintain sterilization equipment, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Manage records and documentation in accordance with AAMI, AORN, Joint Commission, and OSHA standards.
  • Develop and implement training programs to maintain certification and ensure staff compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate awareness and understanding of patient safety risks in the Operating Room.
  • Develop and implement strategies to prepare staff for survey and regulatory assessments.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 6 months of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in Sterile Processing.
  • Strong computer skills and proficiency in relevant software applications.
  • CRCST or CSPDT certification required.
