Job Summary

The WSU Tech Faculty, Building Automation position is responsible for providing high-quality instruction and support to students in the field of building automation and HVAC. The successful candidate will have a strong background in building automation and HVAC, as well as experience in teaching and training adult learners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver course content that meets the WSU Tech Course Standard and reflects current field practices.
  • Teach and maintain an effective learning environment, regardless of instructional modality.
  • Assess student learning and provide feedback to students.
  • Stay current with industry developments and advancements in building automation and HVAC.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in Building Automation, HVAC, or related discipline.
  • Experience with Siemens, Tracer, or other related systems.
  • Experience with Data Analytics systems Power BI, Public Tableau, or other related systems.
  • Previous teaching or training experience in adult education preferred.
