Key Responsibilities:

The Assistant Director of Recruitment will be responsible for developing and implementing recruitment strategies to attract and enroll a diverse and talented student body. This role involves extensive travel, relationship building with high schools and community organizations, and collaboration with various departments within the institution.

Leadership and Mentorship:

The Assistant Director of Recruitment will provide leadership and mentorship to admission counselors and contribute to the overall goals of the admission office. This includes training and professional development, as well as analyzing recruitment data to assess the effectiveness of strategies and make data-driven recommendations.

Recruitment and Community Engagement:

The Assistant Director of Recruitment will establish and maintain relationships with high school counselors, community organizations, and prospective students. This includes conducting information sessions, campus tours, and admission interviews, as well as representing Newman at high school visits, college fairs, and community events throughout Kansas and surrounding regions.

Required Qualifications:

A Bachelor's degree is required, with a Master's degree preferred. A minimum of 3 years of experience in undergraduate admission, recruitment, or a related sales or education field is also required. Preferred qualifications include experience in corporate partnership development, digital marketing and social media recruitment strategies, and knowledge of data analysis and reporting tools.
