At Newman University, a Catholic, liberal arts institution, we seek a talented Latin Educator to join our team on-campus for the Spring 2025 semester. This is a part-time, adjunct instructor position, requiring a Master's degree in Classics or Latin or an MA/PhD with evidence of Latin proficiency. We prefer candidates with university-level teaching experience, particularly in Latin. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in the thought of St. John Henry Newman and able to foster a positive learning environment. As a Latin Educator, you will teach undergraduate courses, meet with the Lead Instructor to review syllabi, and utilize the Learning Management System to enhance the learning experience. Your work will contribute to the enrichment of our curriculum and the development of our students. We offer a competitive salary, estimated around $60,000 - $70,000 per year, based on the location and industry standards.
