Responsibilities- Evaluate and treat patients in the hospital medicine ward and emergency department
- Provide consultative services to various sub-specialties within the hospital
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient care
- Participate in quality initiative programs within the department of hospital medicine
- Bachelor's degree and successful completion of accredited Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner program
- Current license issued by the State of Maine or eligible for licensure
- Experience in hospital medicine preferred, but not required
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills
- Ability to effectively triage, organize, and prioritize
- Ability to function as part of a team
