Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and treat patients in the hospital medicine ward and emergency department
  • Provide consultative services to various sub-specialties within the hospital
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient care
  • Participate in quality initiative programs within the department of hospital medicine
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree and successful completion of accredited Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner program
  • Current license issued by the State of Maine or eligible for licensure
  • Experience in hospital medicine preferred, but not required
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills
  • Ability to effectively triage, organize, and prioritize
  • Ability to function as part of a team
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
